Julie Gretta Ross embarked on her creative practice when she enrolled in a BA (Hons) at Edinburgh College of Art specialising in Glass and Architectural Glass. The love of the material properties in glass propelled her into a lifelong connection with the material where she explored her passion further through her Master of Philosophy in Sustainable Design at the University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh College of Art.

Throughout her distinguished career as a creative practitioner, she has exhibited regularly and undertaken several commissions for individual clients and businesses across Asia, Africa and the United Kingdom.

She relocated to Edinburgh, Scotland in 2024 to pursue her creative process further - combined with tutoring and research projects.
